Shopify data

Dr AI Feed reads product data, Shopify category information and product image files. It stores Shopify authentication sessions, shop identifiers, product diagnosis indexes, draft before/after versions, job status, monthly usage and AI-processing consent. It does not request customer or order access. Session records can contain staff account details provided by Shopify authentication.

AI processing

After a merchant explicitly enables AI processing, selected product text is sent to OpenAI to generate a draft. Generating an image description also sends the selected Shopify-hosted image URL. Requests use store:false. This does not by itself guarantee zero retention by the AI provider. Review the provider’s current data policies and your own data-transfer obligations before enabling this feature.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are approved on Shopify’s hosted plan page. The server queries Shopify’s Partner API to verify active subscription items. Payment card details are not collected by this application.

Retention and removal

Application data is kept while the app remains installed so drafts, history and jobs can be resumed. Verified uninstall or shop-redaction webhooks remove that shop’s application records and sessions. Customer privacy webhooks are acknowledged without storing their payloads; the app has no customer/order records to return. Hosting backups, provider records and legal retention require operator-specific policies before launch.

Your control

Revoke AI processing in Settings to stop new AI requests. Existing drafts remain available. Uninstall to disconnect the app; contact the operator for access, correction or deletion requests and backup-retention information.
